Help us make the Brussels winter a little gentler for men, women and children who are homeless.

In 2009, Abu arrived in Brussels as a refugee from Niger. The culture shock was enormous. He saw the culture of fear and avoidance that prevailed around the homeless and wanted to break it down. This is how the project Cooking with Abu saw the light of day, which in the meantime has four editions under its belt. Together with a host of volunteers, we want to bring homeless people together and offer them a place where their voices are heard.
Our goal: to offer a festive meal to our fellow human beings who are homeless. In previous editions, between 200 and 250 homeless people attended the meal: men, women and children from all over the world. Every time, this large group of people succeeded in turning the meal into one big party which ended with laughter and dancing.

To ensure that our project can run at full speed this winter season, we need your help. We want to collect €6000 to provide our volunteers with fresh ingredients to cook with. We hope to make our project a networking moment. That is how we increase our impact!
